Yes, you can send us your asbestos to dispose of but only if you have a licence. And we will only accept deliveries of asbestos that have been correctly double bagged and sealed in line with asbestos disposal regulations.
No, we do not offer an asbestos collection service. We ask all customers to deliver their asbestos waste to our Environment Agency registered transfer station, where our correctly licensed team will dispose of it in line with regulations. All waste must be double bagged and sealed before it will be accepted.
Our asbestos transfer centre is based in Liverpool but we’ll accept double-bagged and sealed waste from anywhere in the country.
We accept deliveries of asbestos waste between the hours of 7am and 6pm (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays) and 7am and 1pm (Saturday).
Our transfer station is registered with the Environment Agency and our disposal team is fully licensed. Our Waste Management Licence number is EPR/AP3997CP.
No. You can attend our transfer station any time during our normal working hours (Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm and Saturday 7am-1pm) and our team will be happy to take you through the process of accepting your waste and provided you with the correct consignment notes and certificates.
We do not offer an asbestos collection service. Should you require someone to dismantle, package and collect your asbestos waste, you’ll need to contact a qualified contractor to do so. This contractor will charge you for this service.
We strongly advise that you confirm that your chosen contractor is licensed to remove your asbestos through the Environment Agency (you can call them on 0370 8506 506) before instructing any works.
